Our founder's journey began with a 27-year Air Force career followed by a stint as a civil servant with one of the largest federal agencies in Washington, DC, where he ultimately rose to become the organization's acting director in 2020.
Throughout his committed service, he was recognized as a savvy business manager, an impressive leader, and an effective strategist who consistently delivered results at the highest levels of government.
His significant accomplishments included managing a multi-million dollar budget, spearheading strategic focus groups, and designing NASA's Senior Executive Service (SES) onboarding program.
He also participated in the prestigious Excellence in Government Fellows program and completed a Balance Scorecard Course—an integrated strategic planning and management program that equipped him with advanced tools for organizational transformation.
For nearly his entire adult life, he diligently served to prepare mid-level leaders and managers for senior positions by providing realistic coaching, real-time training, and essential mentoring. Over twelve years as an active duty military member, he performed either behind a podium teaching leadership courses or behind the scenes writing the course curriculum, personally influencing thousands of leaders across the spectrum of the Federal Government.
Beyond changing the lives of thousands through federal service, he transformed his own life by completing a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a master's degree in Human Resources Management. This foundation in leadership development continues today through his work as a certified John C. Maxwell mentor and member of the Maxwell Leadership APAC Executive Team, where he helps international clients experience the journey of growing in excellence.
